I have never really liked the round labeled Aqua Master. The labels always seemed to be in such poor condition. As the label covers so much of the box, it really effects the appearance. According to the regional sale rep., in Australia when the last ones were being sold to the shops, the distributor was clearing them out for only $50 Australian ($40 USD). I wish I had been here when that was going on.
Recently a friend asked me if I would buy one from him, to help him finance another project. As he was a friend, I said yes, and got one with a terrible label. I set about to correct the flaws and the first thing I did was to contact Jerry Moseman for a new round label. I used this site.
Jerry promptly air mailed one to Australia. I paid with PayPal and that made it easy. I was surprized, as I was expecting a metal foil label, as I had seen many years ago. Jerry's label restored the regulator like I had not expected. As it covers so much of the box, it improves the appearance of even an abused regulator.
I hope I don't get into trouble for this one, but, letting the 'cat-out-of-the-bag', I understand Jerry will offer a round Phoenix label soon. It will be a rather special label. You might want to get your order in, if you are planning to use a round label Aqua Master for your Phoenix conversion.
Jerry's label will make Bryan and Luis' project shine, as indeed it should.
Label appearance makes all the difference to a regulator restoration project, as that's where the eye focuses first. I'd better stop here. I was so impressed with his label that this post is starting to read like an advertisement.
