Thanks Jim....I've extended an laurel to try and resolve the situation but so far I have been met only with threats and other legal actions against me. Hopefully we can resolve this before it goes any further. If not I can simply bankrupt VDH, shut the website down and let them try and collect what they can from a dissolved LLC. In my opinion this is what their goal is anyway.swimjim wrote:As the person in question did not create the art work and is making a legal claim on it, that makes him lower then pond scum in my opinion. If he actually did create it I would be of a different opinion. However, I know he didn't for a fact. Just because you can do something doesn't make it right.
Soooo..... just because it would be interesting..... one of you VDH'er collectors of everything happen to have one of these original ads??? It was an ad, yes? not out of the '58 catalog, correct? I think it would be quite interesting to see a good resolution scan, and I feel sure someone has one in their flatfile....Bryan wrote:The original USD cylinder sticker from 1958....
If I was the owner of such a fine piece of work, I wouldn't be hiding under the cloak of anonymity. Maybe the artist could do us all a favor and post all pertinent documents proving ownership?Bryan wrote:BTW...He is a registered member of the website forum and can post anytime he likes. He has full access to the site and I can tell you by the IP logs that he spends a lot of time here.
