I put together a set of twin Faber 80s on a modern tech back plate that I had hanging around and man it was great. No weight belt needed and just a puff from my horse collar to stop a catastrophic fast drop to the bottom. The rig weighs in at approximately 85lbs. full up with harness and weighs about as much as a serious combat ruck sack prepped for a 1 month mission. The harness was extremely comfortable and made the hump to the coral not unpleasant in the least. At 160cuf. one can seriously be in trouble of busting a table or two if one is not paying attention to one's BT. At the end of a 60 minute dive to a max depth of 110, I still had 1600 psi and hadn't pulled the J valve yet as there was no need. WOW and !!!!FUN!!!! Egress out was about the same as carrying a steel 120, but with no tank knocking you in your butt before, during, or after the dive. Great centering on the upper back and shoulders for load bearing. A real pleasure. My Kraken is ALWAYS at the right position between the shoulders, just great.
