Just wanted to update with our plans in case they might cross paths with anyone else on the way.

David & I will be heading south and landing in PCB Thursday for a dip at St. Andrews mid-afternoon. The tides aren't ideal, but ocean is ocean and we'll be grateful to be out of town and looking for adventure! Friday morning we will be making a bee-line for the Rainbow River and should reach it about lunchtime for a few hours of excellent drifting, then on to Orange City for supper & beer with Yall.

Really looking forward to it! Everybody travel safely.

p.s. been a while since i tried to post a photo... thought i remembered there was some new easy way, but i don't see that button anymore and search feature wouldn't find the instructions for me... Unfortunately, can't use photobucket from work. :(

Now that I have made a successful transition to Idaho from Hawaii, Sand Dog looks a lot more interesting. I now have 2 years on the new job, and should take some time off. It would be nice to see Bryan, Rob and Barb again.

Sand Dog Gang......For those driving in to the event can I please ask that you bring folding chairs and if you have them, pop up canopy shelters. We may have rain in the afternoons and those will give us space to stay nice and dry for lunch and BS sessions. :)

I’ve got a 12’ x 12’, but if it rains like hell we’re all going to your house.

How you fixed for extra towels?

Have a great time at SD. Wish I could be there for some nice warm and clear diving.

I will be drysuit diving this weekend in an Ohio quarry. Think of me when the temperature drops at the thermocline and how I'd wish to have a thermocline or even the surface temp within 15 degrees of your coldest.
