Manifold Width and Bands

I have ordered a set of 50 cuft tanks that are 6.9 inch in diameter. I have a Sherwood manifold that is 8.13 inches center to center. I believe that the bands that are sold on VDH are designed around a manifold that is 8.25 inches in diameter. This is a 1/8 inch difference. Will this matter or will it put too much stress on a 3 piece manifold?
