Did you get the "Grease Gun Cartridge" or the 8 pound Pail?

Sticky DSV - Silicone Grease Update... Possible Other Cause?

- I got my official Trident Food Grade Silicone Grease last week and took my DSV apart for a re-lube. And it occurred to me that my stickyness might have been due to the screw? While cleaning off the other grease, I noticed marks in the slot where the screw rides. It didn't occur to me until I got it all put back together so I'm not sure if they were actual scratches in the slot or just grease residue.

- Anyway, I thought maybe I had tightened that screw too much and it was rubbing in the slot... causing the stickyness?

- After re-greasing with Trident and re-assembly, the DSV rotated just fine with no stickyness. I was able to screw the screw all the way in with no change to the rotation ease. But I didn't try to tighten the screw at all for fear of stripping the threads.

- Conclusion, my DSV is now rotating smoothly with it's original ease. :)

Could also be the o-ring hardness, rather than lubrication... try changing from 70 Shore A to softer 50
