Robert Silverberg is an American author and editor, who is best known for writing science fiction. However, he also wrote many nonfiction books including Sunken History: The Story of Underwater Archaeology (1963). This volume recounts exploits of Cousteau, Edwin Link, Anders Franzen and others during the formative years of underwater archaeology. Love the cover image on this paperback.
