I got a call from another fella a few minutes ago, selling a round laberl aquamaster for 200 canadian. says he hasnt used it for our years and it has not been serviced. 200 cdn is about 174 US give oir take a few shekels.

I know dick about the round labersl. Whats does an unserviced round laberl Aquamaster go for. It looks pretty clean except for light scratches. also has a solid bar twin manifold for 100 canadian

Any help is appreciated

You ought to grab it if only for resale as long as it is clean and in good general shape. The only real difference between round label Royals or DAs is the front can has a round label and not a square one and the serial number was relocated to the rear can. If it is a DA then it would be a great Phoenix conversion unit.

I suppose it all depends on what you want it for. A round label is just one that was sold toward the end of the USD double hose era. If memory serves, they were sold 1970-1972. USD continue until 1975 with the Royal AM. IMHO the Royal is so much better. But if you need one for your collection or want to make it into a Phoenix, it would be great. For resale? I think it is at the high end at the offered price. But then, a couple of years ago you could get all the Mistrals you wanted for under $100, today, not so. Maybe when the Phoenix becomes available and the regulator gets known outside the vintage circle, this DA could command a better price. As the saying goes, "pays your quarter, takes your chance".

I actually was thinking to pick it up and do a pheonix conversion with it, and get the pheonix oround laber when it comes out.
