But... if you scratch or gouge the volcano orifice side while removing the O-ring you can easily ruin the body on the regulator for good..... Stick with plastic or soft brass till you have done it a few times. You will also do youself a favor during re-install and get a red tube from a can of WD-40 or an orange stick/wooden dowel of the same diameter and slide it just through to the other side of the volcano orifice. This will help line up the O-ring when you are trying to re-install it and keep it from wanting to come to a point and go on through the orifice.....
Works for me.....Then again you have to ask yourself what would I know about it....
