Trieste on display

Mon Feb 22, 2016 11:52 am

I got a chance to see the original Trieste submersible on display at the Washington Navy Yard museum last week. It's huge and still has all sorts of dents and dings on it. They also had the original submersible Alvin on display. There was a small area dedicated to Navy divers and exploration which was very cool. Mike

Awesome! From the days when the US had balls! From the bottom of the Marianas Trench to the Moon and beyond. Now, we swoon over the Kartrashians! My how the mighty have fallen.
