That should serve as notice to all of us regarding securing our cylinders on boats. Sad end to those cans but at least spares were there to make a sad start end in a good diving day.

Luis makes a VERY valid point, one I had not truly considered until now. While I'm not a real phan of plastic or ABS, I do see how this was a good option for this regulator.

The cost of doing business is another good reason brought to the table, maybe at some point there will be other options. Good work Luis et al, I admire your dedication and think you guys are doing great work.

Note to Argonaut Kraken Divers....... If you have a catastrophic accident with your regulator like I did please get in touch with me. I'm here to help and will do my best to get your Argonaut Kraken back in the water ASAP.

A little RTV should fix that right up.

I broke one of mine too last time in Caymans (as you know). Mine did a back flip from the bed, weirdest dang thing ever but it remained fully functional, cosmetic damage. And I fell off the porch in Cozumel and busted the tile with one, not a scratch there either. Then last summer mine fell off the rack in Key West and I thought for sure it was done for, not a scratch again but karma finally caught up and I broke my left toe on the same trip. Frankly, I would have preferred it that way, I think, on the other hand, it hurt an awful lot, not sure which would have been more painful. Anything can be broken, I would rather replace a case than a body assembly.
