I just wonder if it was just a continuation from the shoulder strap from above.

That's what I was trying to say.

....it appears to me that the left shoulder strap becomes the right waist strap and vice versa as they seem to thread through from one eyebolt to the other.

Re: Trip harness. Sorry I didn't see this post sooner. I have a bunch of triples - glad to describe harnesses, give strap lengths, etc., if you haven't got them already figured out. I presume you are planning to match up the USD standard triple 40's set (eliptical bottoms) rather than the round bottom Navy model? The harnesses are different. I also have several french trips from the 40's and 50's if you need measurements on them. Will you be making the complete set - harness and bands - or just the harness? I'd like to buy one or two complete sets - I have some tanks and manifolds that I haven't put together yet.

At this time I am only making the harness. I think Captain has made some bands. Would you would be so kind to PM me, I will email you my email address as show you what I have been able to determine. I have made 2 harnesses so far and may be making another. I still have questions.
