Catalog/info wanted for Colombo

Fri Nov 26, 2010 11:17 pm

Hi, I have a Colombo Colombomatic regulator and stem gauge and would like to have a copy of a catalog or more info like manufacturer dates and different models from the company.
Thanks for any info!

I've never heard of that one Karl. Can you post a picture of it? Thanks

The cans look similar to La Spiro and Bunns.
The stem gauge has a female end to screw to a hp port like the one found on a few of the Euro regulators but the Colombo does not have a port. Maybe there was a banjo adaptor for the stem gauge?

Very neat regulator....I remember seeing a picture of one a couple of years ago but had forgotten all about them till now.
Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB

Thanks for posting the pic's Karl. Looks like Healthways was an inspiration for them as well. I think those yokes are neat. Interesting mouth piece too. I wonder how well it breaths. Nice unit!

Karl,

You are the King of Cool vintage regulators. That Colombo is slicker than cat shit. It's like the love-child of a Spiro and a Healthways.

The nicest and most aesthetically pleasing of all of the Swiss units, thinks I.

I hope to find time sunday to take it apart and see what the diaphragm looks like and hook to tank and see what happens.
