We are trying to fix the PM thing once and for all.....Look at the forum and if you CANNOT see the little E-mail envelopes (see example below) under peoples names then please let me know what browser you are using ....Chrome, AOL, Firefox, IE,

I'm using IE8 (In compatability mode).

It's hit or miss. I can see that some of the members have E-mail envelopes, but even within the same thread not everyone has one displayed.

On a slightly different note, when I want to Login I'm unable to select the "log me in automatically" circle and have it appear to do anything if I click on it.

If I tab to it and press the space bar and then the Enter key it seems to keep me logged in but I still don't ever get any indication that it is selected.

Not seeing an email icon next to a members Username?:

All members have the ability to allow or disallow other members to contact them via email. If you do not allow others to send you email, no email icon will be displayed. To verify your settings please follow:

Login to your account, click on "User Control Panel" then Board Preferences and make the desired changes. Remember it is up to you whether or not you allow members to Email you. This is also where you allow or disallow PM to be sent to you.

If you do not see an email icon next to a users name they are not excepting email from others.

PM system is currently disabled.

The PM system has been reactivated. Please verify your profile settings are configured to allow members to send PM's to you.

Log in to your VDH Community account, click on "User Control Panel" then Board Preferences and make the desired changes. Remember it is up to you whether or not you allow members to SEND PRIVATE MESSAGES (PMs)to you.
