Bryan,

Do you think the "view active topics" button will be coming back?

Don't know about anyone else, but I thought it was pretty handy.

At the bottom of the page you can choose to subscribe to the thread and or bookmark it.
Then you get E-mailed or a pop up in your site mailbox each time there is a reply or new information posted.
Also when you open the main forum page the icons on the left will be a red/brown color when new topics are posted or blue if nothing is new. That way you can see at a glance what is going on.

I will run it by the web administrator and see what his advice is.

While you're running things by him...how about a chat function? This is a really cool feature on some of the watch forums where members can bullsh*t in real time about anything. So many times I see members online and thought it would be cool to shoot the breeze with some other folks...just a thought

How do we get into our new messages? I haven't figured that one out yet. robohips the mechanically rebuilt and technically challenged.

I think that you would click on the "user control panel" tab at the top of the forum page. I don't receive PM so I can't tell you exactly.....There are some bugs to work out with the new site/forum and store and I know he's diligently working on them. I will have a link to E-mail William directly very soon so he can help.

Great site! It is nice to have a front door with a welcome mat for the newbies. Everyone that has been around here awhile is used to entering the side door and going to the forum directly. There has been tons of donated time and effort by several members to create this new home and always more time will be needed in the future to keep improving our home and vintage diving community. Don't forget to go thru the front door once in a while to see if new content has been added!

Wow! What a talented crew you have working on the website, Bryan. It's like Mike Nelson meets the Jetsons, Retro-Technology. Love the look.

I like it. Look polished. Makes me want to sit up straight, comb my hair, and use a spell checker.
