BTW, Allan is a great craftsman… the prototype was intended to be functional and obviously no effort was spent on the looks…

Are you saying I don't make pretty?

There is a time for pretty and there is a time for function... this was functional...

If I recall correctly, I think this resembles the Mentor design somewhat.

I'll have to try it as it looks very promising.
Diving like back when toilets used to really flush, styrofoam was non-existant in a car, and seltzer water wasn't so damn expensive.

I got my 1st ideas from the original Healthways and Nemrod designs....The Mentor and the new Aqua-Lung Mistral designs are lumped into it as well in my addled brain I'm sure. Rob, Allan, Dave, Luis and I have all talked at length about what would work the best and easiest. Dave put the 1st two working valves of this type in the SE Phoenix editions a couple of months ago.

I appreciate the support and feedback from everyone!

AndyB wrote:Can the new mushroom valve itself fit a Snark III? If it did that would kill two birds with one stone, a great replacement for the duckbill and a supply of Snark valves on this side of the Atlantic :D
Not even close in size. Sorry

I may work on the Snark valve but it will be a while.
