MEK in a well ventilated area.....Once again A WELL VENTILATED AREA. Wrap a wood dowel with paper towels or clean rag. Soak in MEK....IN A WELL VENTILATED AREA AWAY FROM ANY SPARK OR FLAME.....twist it around and around inside the horn where the duckbill was. Let it set for 10 minutes......Scrape with a blunt object so you don't gouge the inside of the can.....Repeat process until it's all gone....MEK will ruin any other paint or rubber it gets on so BE CAREFUL..... When you are done wash with soap and water, rinse and wash again with soap and water..... I would love to find a faster eaiser way but I do this same procedure sometimes 5 or more times a week and so far this works best.....Your results may vary..
Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB
