Cast bodies

Tue Mar 18, 2014 12:49 am

Sorry if this was covered somewhere else, but I'm not having any luck getting a definitive answer with a search. Did both Broxton and Navy Approved regs have cast bodies and yokes?

So, is this likely a Broxton or a later Navy Approved? Cast body, smooth horn, no tabs on the can.

Most likely either Green Label or early Blue Label. Looks like a cast retaining ring. Could be from a Green Label. Definitely not a Navy Approved.

Yes, it's also a cast ring. This gives me a better idea of what I have. Thanks!
