I can't make this stuff up if I tried

Sometimes I think E-bay does more harm than good for us........This is from a new customer.

I got this double hose regulator on E-bay from a guy in Florida who told me it was rebuilt by a guy who was in the navy seals and it was very much dive ready. I must be doing something wrong because when I read you information about the royal aquamaster you are selling you are say they are the best breathing double hose regulator and I can hardly use this one in my Y pool without needing to stop for a breath. If you could see if perhaps a valve or something is stuck on this royal aquamaster double hose regulator I would like to know. If you think that all is fine and it is working like it is supposed to work then perhaps you want to buy it because I can’t dive with it when it is so hard to get air.

1. If all the guys I've met who said they were a Navy Seal really were,Seal Teams would be the biggest Command in the US Navy.

2. at first glance I see two things wrong with the assembled parts (not a rebuild) I wonder whats wrong on the inside?

On the inside all was pretty much normal....Just gotta get that nozzle port flowing down the intake horn! Makes all the difference in the world...

That was number 1,
number 2 it looked like the nut on the seat holder and disc asb. was cranked down too much, so the horse shoe would not have much travel,customer said he wasn't getting enough air?

looks like it will clean up nice

Good Eye Bernie.....That was my fault, I had already cranked the nut down trying to break it loose so I could take it apart......He decided that he wanted another regulator so this one will go for sale as soon as I get it all cleaned up....

Yeah, there are a lot of wannabe SEALS. Pretty pathetic bunch of losers. Every now and then I go to this site that exposes them:

I think this is true af most vintage items. Of the 40 something snowblowers that I have taken home for my collection every one of them tells a story when I do triage then latter dig into them. It may be an improvised part or something just put together wrong. Without fail there is something odd.
