Voit Polaris 50 arrived today!

I was very pleased to receive my latest Voit double hose reg, a Polaris 50. The reg is in excellent condition, with only a few light scratches on the can's chrome cover. The bottom can's finish was in pristine shape. From the looks of the interior, it looks like the reg has never seen much use. I was surprised to find that the HP seat sealed perfectly with no leakage at all. The diaphragm was in great shape as well. I thoroughly cleaned the parts and replaced the mouthpiece valves. While the hoses are usable, I put a pair of reproduction gray ones on the unit. All-in-all, a great example of Voit's version of the Mistral design.

Now, if I can just find a blue cycolac bodied version....
