Took the Kraken out for a dive in Pacific Grove today. The selfie didn't turn out great, but you can see the Kraken hoses and my trusty Hydroglove.

Any photo of the Kraken in action is a good one. Even in the frozen North or the warm South. :D

Always glad to see pictures of divers enjoying their Argonauts!

Cerakote over bright chrome finish is not ideal. Removing it is difficult unless you have the right skills and chemistry to do it. It was a good idea that ended up costing more than I thought would be reasonable for buyers to pay for a refurbished USD 2nd stage so I ended my experiment with that one.

Jim Bach, one of the Argonaut Kraken test divers shares his video tribute. Thanks for the video and Thanks even more for your feedback and dive testing of this amazing modern double hose regulator.

Pictured in the video is the prototype that I tested. A really awesome unit! It now lives in Minnesota. The production Krakens have a bunch more "tweaks" and are even cooler regs. I ought to know, I own one! I dove it on my birthday this year under the ice up at Fortune Pond at Crystal Falls upper Michigan. Here's the video.....https://vimeo.com/124034771. If you do your homework and set things up properly, the Kraken will be the best regulator you ever owned, bar none! :D

Sorry Jim, I could not wait for the ice to melt, so I took my new AK southbound for her maiden voyage. She performed flawlessly which made for a great week of boat and shore diving. I have to give a thumbs up to the AK team who developed and produced this fine reg. Now its time for some dry suit diving back in Michigan.
