I like the way y'all talk. I don't consider myself a vintage diver per se, but I get a lot of ribbing when I suit up with a single lens mask, full foot flippers, horse collar and J valve. We like what we are used to.
My experience is mostly in South Carolina rivers as a hobby archaeologist. lately I have been practicing minimal diving in shallow water (less than 30 feet) and my J valves are aging out.
