Getting back into the saddle

Wed Dec 19, 2012 2:19 pm

Well 2012 has been a complex, if not rocky, year for me but I am getting ready to go diving again. Through the year I have:
• Done 51 days overseas for work
• Had a seizure for unknown reasons last March and passed out while driving on I-95 in CT and totaled out my car. Waking up in an Emergency room is not all that much fun. I am told that around 10% of all people will have a seizure at some time in their life for no know cause. I'm sure 3 weeks in India had Nothing to do with it.......
• Had a case of Bells Palsy so bad I couldn’t seal around a regulator mouthpiece for 3 months
• And had a good case of Shingles

But I just had a 9 month check up by my neurologist and have been cleared to go do some fun stuff and am looking to start some shallower diving (200+ foot dives seem to be in my past now). I also have a bunch of frequent flyer miles to burn up on Delta, so if anyone has something of interest let me know and I will see if I can make it.

I will be thinning out my double hose herd some, keeping only my PRAM with all the bells and whistles, a re-chromed RAM, and a Mistral, so after the holidays I will be putting up a NAVY Approved, Stream Air, and 2 Polish Kajman regs.
