Is Bob's New Years Resolution to do a vintage dive? He sure looks like he hates wearing that thing he's got on.
Someone told me that diving a double hose reg will kill me. I had no idea these things were dangerous.

Happy New year everyone. It's almost time for the Polar Bear club to make it's annual jump into Lake Michigan. Once again I'll be standing on the pier in my dry suit ready to pull out shock victims. Here's a little video I did of a past event.

Poor Bob what he has to put up with. Now look what Rob had to put up with last night. He is wearing Bob's hat, and we both want to wish you all a great 2012.

He just sent me a copy of the CG45 manual in French. It is in the download section for those of you who are interested. Thank you

Happy New Years All!

Some old and some new:

Kicked the year off right by going for a solo lake dive today at an old marina site; a balmy 42 degrees UW had me feeling toasty. Found a submerged late 50's or early 60's era car, Vauxal or Nash perhaps (it was low vis, upside down and there were no visible markings I could find). No bodies to speak of either but the silt was thick so... ? That's the old.

Currently I am typing this post dive while sipping a coffee in a Starbucks using the laptop my wife got me for Xmas. That's the new.

I'm such a yuppy... do they even call them that anymore?
