Changing Minds on Double Hose Diving

Ok so even though I have been diving double hose regulators for awhile most people under the age of 40 have not. I just turned 30 this year and have made a New Years Resolution and that is to get as many young divers interested in diving with double hose regulators as I can. We need to keep the interest alive so others can follow in our foot steps and cary on the legacy of diving a double hose regulator.

You don't have to be vintage to dive vintage! I just turned 31 last month. the vintage diving community is full of people of all ages and experience levels. And for the most part everyone plays well with others :D Welcome aboard. -Ryan

I would be willing to bet that the majority of people under the age of 50 have never dove a double hose regulator. :wink:

Definitely don't have to be vintage to dive vintage. I wasn't even in kindergarten yet when most of my equipment was made.. :shock:

We are vintage EQUIPMENT divers not vintage DIVERS. You can be young or old or between.

Definitly welcome to the community of vintage EQUIPMENT divers :D .

Yarr, welcome aboard matey! Me suggests you check out the NAVED section found else where on this site. Look into Sand Dog V as well. Join us in Florida and dive the Fresh water springs! There be treasure in the form of camaradrie! Seriously, it's a blast. Once again, welcome aboard!

Yah I am also into diving closed circuit. I bought a MK15.5 3 years ago and have put MK16 upgrades in it. I love it. Idon't dive helium so I'm only running custom Nitrox through it but it's awsome and was well worth the money.

Absolutely agree. I'm 19 and I dive vintage, more like "eclectic", and boy do I get some looks :roll:. Upside though is it generates a lot of interest.
