Welcome to the board.
Anyone is welcome, while it is a meeting of DH divers, if you have an interest in DH diving, it is a perfect event to get to know DH divers, see, touch and dive the gear with people who know the regs. You can bet there will be lots of gear, some old, some restored, some new and most likely some yet to be released gear. Come on down.

Orlando should be the cheapest flights and widest selection of cheap rental cars. Drive over is pretty easy.....Allow extra time when turning in your rental car and checking back in through Orlando though as it's mainly families traveling with lots of kids and it take a long time to get through TSA..

May is a much better travel month in Florida...By June....FORGET IT.

Hey Bryan, in response to your post about NOT bringing a flashlight when diving at Blue Springs, what about lights for a video camera. Wasn't that the issue with the Park Ranger? He was trying claim that a flashlight and video lights were the same  . I don't want to get busted by the GoPro police. ...

If they are attached to a camera I would just shut up and play dumb....If asked say they are a FLASH....I would not mention anything with the word LIGHT in it.....I think someone making an issue of it would make it an issue.....Of course it's not hard for me to play dumb!

I want to encourage anyone who is interested in vintage diving to attend this years Sand Dog event. I was "the new guy" two years ago and really had a great time. Everyone was very friendly and open to me diving with them. There were plenty of guys to dive with. I have another reg that I'm bringing and many of the others have a variety of vintage regs in their collection that they will also have with them. Some of them may seem "crusty" on the forum but I can assure you that they don't bite. PM me if you have a question that you don't want to ask on the forum. Mike

My reservations are made for the Days Inn. If any of you have AARP or AAA you can get up to 20% off there normal rate. King size bedrooms are just about gone for the weekend. Don't Delay have a happy Days INN stay

I have a few extra steel 72's I am willing to throw in for use for any that may be flying down. PM me and let me know. I do not have harness or back plates etc. only the tank. I also spoke to this Forums SkinDiver and he has it marked on his calendar. Now we need to get those Minnesotans and Michiganders to commit. Come on people its a great time and you know it.., Besides that, gas is a lot cheaper now than a year ago. You'll save almost 30%. :D And you bums in the keys need to not make me beg to see you. Just put your three mill in the car and come up. I know the sunsets aren't the same but heck you can put up with us for two days. Oh yea and you people in New York and the east coast and Louisiana, you know who you are, get your equipment together and join us. Alright so I miss all of you!!!. :P

Hopefully there will be a better turn out than the last Sand Dog in NY. I guess NY is farther from FL than the other way around.

I suppose I could say yes, but then change my mind later. Lots of variables, like always. Fortunately, time is not one of them. You might want to get some sort of count, however, not terribly reliable as I have learned.

By my count, there is at least 10 (I am guessing on a few). Come on down Allan, it would not be the same without you.
