Refinishing a Manifold

Fri Feb 20, 2015 4:50 am

I have a USD manifold that has seen better days. Has anyone ever had their valves re chromed or even painted? I was thinking it could make a nice faux non mag.

Cerakote will work great but you need to remove the chrome 1st for best results.
Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB

Do you still have a guy that does that? I can probably remove the chrome myself.

I'm sure there is someone local that could handle it for you.
