When did they start making 104's?

Sun Mar 20, 2011 1:13 pm

Random question, I have a 1972 PST lp 104, and when I mentioned it to a dive shop owner, he was surprised that they were made that long ago. Anyone know when they started making 104's?

My first set of cave tanks were PST 104's and they were simply the best. Their original date was also 72 and I also had a set with a 74 date on them. I have never seen any earlier but will search my literature for an answer. Great tanks by the way. Pumped mine to 4000 psi on more occassions than I can remember.
First dives? 1967 and I never lost the fever.
