$50.00 Find

Thu Aug 28, 2014 5:21 pm

Had to pay 20 to ship but a few good finds. Also had a scubapro and dacor tank backpack not shown in the pictures.

Horscollar looks barely used, bladder is good. It's a shame, but the equipment had lots of saltwater use. The MK5 is badly corroded and not worth the time. The 109 cleaned up pretty good and most of the corrosion is behind the mouthpiece and exhaust. All rubber is in great shape but the regulator was well used. I will probably rebuild and throw on my Conshelf 21 1st stage as I do a lot of coldwater diving.

Is there any way to date these things? One thing I did notice is that the 109 jas a 3 digit serial 156394. Also, are all the adjustment knobs held in by a circlip? This one had a pin.

The Jet Fins were thrown in. These are pre-lighting bolt but does not have a size printed on them. Rubber is in perfect shape and they are nice and flexible. The metal hardware is plated and rusting a bit. Will probably throw on some spring straps. But these are nice fins. Does anybody know if the sizes were ever printed on them? Just says made in USA with a patent number. The jet snorkel is kind of neat.
