DW Mistral Rebuild

I am rebuilding my DW mistral .I believe I found a good chrome place in Providence, RI in case anyone is interested. IS there a trick to inserting the small O ring in the body?

I mentioned once before, one of the biggest performance improvement I have made to my DH was not to the regulator, but by reintroducing a redesigned vintage plate.
