DW Mistral Information

Thu Sep 27, 2012 5:30 pm

Could you help me with a question? :?
I never saw a DW Mistral with address 3323 W. Dehli Ave. :(
Have you ever seen one before?

In 1960 US divers moved from Los Angles to Orange county.

The factory was re-located to Dehli road
In early 1961 Delhi road was changed to Warner Avenue...Dehli road ceased to exsist and was removed from the county maps..

So now you know..

The Dehli address appeared on the US Diver products for about 1-1/2 years..until all the stock was depleated.
Never the less a Dehli address on any US Diver product would be at this juncion in dive equipment collecting rare and desireable.

Good find ---another rare one.

My two DA's with Delhi have made in France labels.
Does your Delhi Mistral have made in France label?

Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB

I guess do they exist(2)!
But the serial numbers are confused...
I have the Mistral Pico: 101.725 / 103.485 / 103.698 / 111.529 and 114.985
And the Mistral Warner: 124.449 / 125.919 / 207.791 / 208.329 / 209.370 and 209.633

The Mistral in the picture is #103.649 !
I'm courious.... :(

Years ago on a stake-out I watched an old man steal some baby pigs out of a hogpen and put them in the trunk of his car. I stopped him on a dark and lonely road and asked him if he had any pigs in his trunk. He denied having them. I had him open the trunk. I asked him "Then how do you explain all these pigs?" He replied, "Captain, there is some things that just cannot be explained. This is one of them..."

Maybe the Dehli Mistral is another.
