Valve Question

Sat Dec 03, 2005 7:16 pm

I did a search but didnt find any info on this topic. I hope its not a repeat.
I wish I had a digital camera right now...
I just got a valve that I have never seen before. Its only markings are Seamco on the front and made in the USA on the back. It appears to be a J-valve. THe knob is of course steel like the valve. It has a high pressure port coming off it and there is an attached healthways guage (made in Italy). Under the reserve knob there is another bolt that appears to cover another port. I am not sure if this is true or not. Does anyone know anything about this valve. I would appreciate any info. Was this a common vintage setup? It is in remarkable condition and I am thinking about adding it to my new vintage set.
