Indeed he does; I commissioned him to make a repro label for my VR-1. So the work has already been done. All you'd need to do was order one and give him the serial # off of your original label..Bryan wrote: I am think Jerry makes a replacement can lable for that regulator. Bryan,Bryan wrote:That is correct for that regulator. Front half shiny chrome back half satin chrome. The USD Overpressure breathing was the same way but had a different hose/nozzle assembly.....If you can find someone that has an extra Mistral Venturi nozzle for sale or trade it will make your VR-1 a much better breathing regulator. They came with a non venturi nozzle like the USD Stream Air....A great many of the USD Overpressure Breathing, and Stream Air regulators were updated with the Mistral venturi nozzle but I dont think I have ever seen a Voit with that upgrade even though the parts are identical.....Sorry to cloud the water but the difference is very noticeable...

Squirt penetrating oil on it, and let it soak for an hour or so. If it is still tight, repeat the process. It is very important to use a six point wrench, as it distributes the torque more evenly across the nut's surface. The orifice is brass, so it is easy to damage.INFIDELxx wrote:Man the Orfice is tight. I have been trying to remove it but stopped because i dont want to mess up the bolt head. Any ideas on how to remove a stubborn Orfice?
