A Bryan rebuild!!

Mon Oct 17, 2005 10:12 pm

I just got back from FLA with my mermaid. I dove many sites including the CATFISH HOTEL in Manatee springs. I dove my newest reg just rebuilt and shipped to me in FLA by Bryan special hot rush. I used my twin 72 cf steels and did a one hour dive with a max depth of 74 feet. My newest rebuilt reg was none other than the BLACK PLASTIC Jet air that was a total basket case before Bryan got a hold of it and had it breathing better than any other single stage I have! Bryan really outdid himself on this one. A younger diver about 25 years old saw me going in and started gushing over my neat old reg and asked me if I rebuilt it myself...so I told him I did ha ha. No, I passed on Bryan's web address and showed him my other 4 regs I had brought with me. I had to tell more curious divers on this trip more than any other, how they could get one of those neat old regs? This may mean we are recruiting more new younger divers? I hope so!
Thanks again Bryan for the fast shipping and great rebuild!!
Rob

I have a soft spot in my heart for the old Jet Scare. Glad that it worked out so well for you. Hope you are setting down when you get the bill !

Yeah, we need some younger divers, you old guys are slowing me down! LOL. Just kidding, you may not think it but wjen Capt. Ratnick puts on the speed he is a human torpedo and Rob can carry all of his gear and mine too, I need a scooter just to keep up!
Glad to hear that Jet Air is working out so nicely and that it catches so much attention. I wonder if it is the black color that makes it stand out?

Perhaps we could get everyone that goes to Sand Dog III to use a Jet Scare for at least one dive? Would make a neat group photo? I have at least one perhaps 2 or three, I'll look sometime this week.

I was really suprised how well it breathed! No kidding I never had a single stage breathe that well. Bryan must have put some special sauce on it or some MOJO? It is an ugly one though as the decal is almost all gone  perhaps Bryan will make me one of those????? :P
