Glue? Wetsuit Cement?

Sat Jul 07, 2007 9:03 am

Ok I found a great condition nemrod horse collar with the original pony tank in geat condition and want to do some preventative maitenance. The oral inflator hose looks as though it has some stress on the elbow coming out of the BC but I have never seen the type of glue used on it. It still appears to be well carterized but there is some glue peeling off. Is it regualar wet suit cement or something different? I am being picky as I don't want to damage the material of the BC. This was a keeper as it only needs to be cleaned a little and the pony bottle is immaculate inside. Still had original air in it. Whoo what a smell! thanks for your time.

Is it the rubber type like the Fenzy? If so I have used Aqua-Seal on them and had good results.......Luis has a lot of experience with them, perhaps he has a better suggestion...
Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB
