Trieste measurements needed please

Sat Nov 11, 2006 2:47 am

I don't have a Trieste but I have a question for those who might have one. Could you please take a measurement from the face of the first stage nozzle (the part that seals agaisnt the tank O-ring) to the top of the rear box and also to the top of the top box. In other words, the total thickness of the unit excluding the cans and including the cans. Please and thank you. Nothing special, just doing some calculations.

Hi Nimrod,

Not sure if this is what you want but the distance between the face of the o-ring seal to the shelf that rests against the rear can 1.175". Next comes a gasket 0.05" thick. The rear box itself is 1.15" thick and the box with the face label is 0.80". Total can thickness is 1.95". The OD of the can is 2.83" (flange and ring clamp joining the cans is of course larger.

Yes, those are helpful, so then, the length (thickness) from the label side to the face of the nozzle that seals to the valve O-rings is? Thanks

Hi,

The single measurement from the label face to the face of the o-ring seal is 3.15".
