I joined here recently having found my way here from the "Sea Hunt" section at SB.luis wrote:
There are plenty of divers that are not going to do a search on Google or anywhere else for something they don’t even know they are interested in. They only find out they are interested in it after they see that other divers are diving this type of gear.
How do I know this, several of our members have join us this way.
There are also several members that found us at SB and they occasionally post here, but they are still very active at SB. They are also customers of Bryan.
There have even been a number of divers from SB who had double hose regulators (from their father, grandfather, etc.) that were not aware of our community and the services offered by Bryan and Dan until they saw some post at SB.
Welcome to this board....don't know about you but for me half the fun of vintage diving is the looks I get......esp working my way through an OW class.jbrians wrote:I joined here recently having found my way here from the "Sea Hunt" section at SB.luis wrote:

I was stuck in the old ways since 1970 and didn't have a clue that there was such an active community of vintage divers out there! Local divers looked at me like I had just surface out of the black lagoon.
I had a bid on that one up to 240. I was top of the heap until the last hour or so!.simonbeans wrote:A Royal aka RAM sold last night on eBay for a little over $250. It was miss labeled as a Calypso. It had a Calypso yoke screw. If you want a RAM you would be wise to wait until Bryan offers one in his store. That way it is really to go. A better bet, might be to get a DA Aquamaster and have it converted to a RAM by way of a Phoenix nozzle which should be available come January. DAAMs are nearly always on eBay and with a Phoenix nozzle ready to dive you won't be sorry.
