Best fins for vintage diving with 1/4" boots?

Had to replace my wetsuit boots, because they were worn and stunk really bad. Now the new boots dont work with my rockets or dacor graphites. I am looking at having to spend 300 Cdn to get a pair of fins that fit the boots. we need the 5 to 7 mm up here cause its cold.

What about the turtle fins, is the foot pocvket like a cavern or more like the USd rockets. I hate to drop that sort of coin on a new set of fins, but I wont be doing much diving until i get a pair. I have girls size fet 8- 8.5.

Any suggestions , even for new fins which would be the better ones to get?
