The prodigal son has returned!!!! Jeff said one of the guys from the quarry called and someone had left a box on the office step containing his regulator.
He asked me to convey his thanks to everyone for putting the pressure on and keeping an eye out for it. I am sure the person who stole it figured out real quick there was no way to turn it without being caught.

Or it is possible the thief went to dive it and he was told that old stuff will kill ya so he figured he might as well return it.

Fantastic! :D

I wonder if the box and reg were dusted for prints if anything would show up? Or would it be better to just let this sleeping dog lie, as all's-well-that-ends-well?

The guy that found it had no idea what it was so he handled it quite extensively before calling Jeff about it. The police said it would be unlikely to get a good print and the person probably wiped it down 1st.
