Loved the video Bryan. Content was great and you don't trip over your tongue like I tend to do. Ha. If you could bring in a little more light on the subject I think that may improve things a bit. Keep up the good work, we're really getting spoiled. Ha

Thanks Jim! I'll get some more light on the subject. I appreciate the feedback.

I need to get a lot more content put together before I even consider that!! YouTube limits you to 5 minutes so that's what I made.......Other than a blooper reel I don't have any other suggestions from you guys :? :?

Great Video Bryan. I finally got to see it at work this morning on our computer there after unsuccessful attempts on mine at home. They have H/S internet; we've got dial-up - SLOW dial-up! Thanks, and Best of Holiday Wishes to You and Everyone Else. Terry Stevens

Thank you Bryan, I did learn something today.

It was very helpful for people like me, who have not worked in or around a dive shop and lack the knowledge.

Thanks again

Very informative. If you ever get a DVD together with the entire rebuild process for a single-stage, I'd be interested, as someday I'd like to try my hand at overhauling one, being mechanically challenged notwithstanding..

You probably just saved my reg - as I didn't realize it was brass and would have most likely used a typewriter spring hook to remove the o ring. I second the request for a DVD. GREAT VID - KEEP EM COMING

If you removed it from the top side of the body you would be fine even if you scratched it a little. Now if you gave the brass volcano orifice on the other side a scratch you could be in a world of hurt!!! Just use a brass hook, wood, or plastic take your time and you will be fine. I know that Captain, Luis, Greg and others have discussed how a jig could be made to re-true nozzles on 1st stage regulators that get damaged and wont seat any longer.
I’m working on other videos but don’t look for one anytime soon that tells all….Otherwise I would have to delete the regulator service section of the VDH store. I am still looking for feedback and suggestions for new video clips!!!!!

Bryan does have the repair manual on CD for sale. It takes you through the rebuild process step by step. Of course it's not a DVD, but it will get you a long way. I have successfully brought several reg's back to life with it. Couple that with Bryans rebuild kits and you have a winner. Got questions? Use the forum or email Bryan. He'll help you out. Of course if you raise the white flag, you can always send the reg in. Unless you have something unusual, that probably won't be the case.

Happy Holidays

Jim

Lot of great tid bit's in that one. Especially the thread size for the seat holder and the guitar string method for cleaning the weep hole in the seat holder. Fabulos! The intro music rocked! That and my first cup of coffee really got me going. Ha.

Best video yet.

You seem more comfortable, the information is spot on, and the AC/DC intro rocked! 8)
