Oh Susan, my late wife's name was Susan too, and not Sue. If you don't like "Sue" you'd hate her nickname, it was "Suey", and always said with great affection.

I wish we would get more comments from our ladies on the site. They bring in the sunshine and offer a refreshing view point.

Well Suey is adorable and Susie is fine with me, too although my daughter kinda took it over when she was born - I've always found the name Susan to be just fine. I get a little sensitive about Sue - might have something to do with having been married to an attorney...or not. Just never seemed like my name. Susafish is a relatively new permutation - an early attempt to honor SCUBA and all it's done for me. I also got dubbed "Troublefish" a few weeks ago - fits too, I'm told

I am glad to be on this board - I will be happily jumping into forums as I learn more of what I'm talking about - this Vintage world is exciting to me - history, drama and fries, too. I also like the simplicity of Vintage Diving - Modern SCUBA appeals to the gadget hound in me - but this is elegant. That's said of course, with all of two vintage dives under my belt - and a great deal of encouragement and inspiration from my best buddy Allan!

Looking forward to many more and knowing you all. I say let's all travel down to visit YankDownUnder as soon as possible. What say, Yank?

That and let's get going on this video you're all talking about! It looks like we have all the talent we need right here...who was talking about grants? Did I hear budget?? I'd love to help write for a grant. You might notice as we go along, I have no shortage of words.

I would like to participate in the video, but clearly that is not possible. However, I can send you a little magazine our local dive group uses for back ground information. It is about 45 pages of history and vintage gear. It is just an overview, but may give you some ideas. Hi Susan: Welcome to this elite group. Rob and I met you over labor day weekend, and toured the shop while we were visiting with Allan and Debbie.
We are lucky ladies, there are so many more vintage guys then girls.
I'm so glad that Rob has introduced me to everyone and look forward to Sandog this spring.

You are also lucky to be diving and working with Allan, he is such a nice guy and great host, and he does make you feel like a model when he starts snapping underwater pics.
