Here is another idea ?

This was in a box of stuff I got.....Looks like someone solved the hookah port adaptor problem by simply tapping 3/4" threads in the existing hookah port!
Sorry for the poor photo quality!

I have so many of them stacked up all over my work area it's hard not to get them in a picture no matter where it's taken.

What a strange person

Fri Sep 15, 2006 10:24 pm

What kills me is that this rant occured in regards to a thread about tapped hooka ports as an alternative to adapters. To each his own.

Bryan,

Have you thought about offering hooka tapping as a service? Then you could also make and sell a modified plug to cover it when not in use that would look just like the original. A stealth port with no additional adapter needed...... I'd buy that.

Mike.

FYI - tried the silcone diaphram out last weekend and it performed great. More trials to come this weekend if all works out.

I have not considered it because I would not want to risk damaging the bodies on other folks regulators while I was tapping it. You just never know....
Plus with the Phoenix nozzle coming soon and one other treat I have in store for everyone I don't think there will need to do much more for the hookah port......STAY TUNED FOR DETAILS.....

Gold Plated 25th Anniversary RAM

Fri Sep 15, 2006 10:43 pm

I'd only dive that Golden RAM with a water dawg strapped to each leg and Bryan's Tekna scooter in my left hand and a bang stick in my right.

Why? 'cause I know damn well Nemrod would be chasing me down to rip that prize off my tank and feed me to the sharks (or carp if we were at Portage quarry).
