Seat holder/2nd stage body DA Aquamaster

Thu Feb 12, 2015 12:48 pm

Hi! Does anyone know what the threading is on the seat holder/2nd stage body?
Not the rod that actually holds the seat, but the assembly that screws into the body. The manual I have calls it the seat holder, part 32 in the diagram, part number 1010-04 in the parts list.
I really don't want to disassemble my regulator to measure, if I can avoid it.
Thanks in advance!

I am painfully aware of it. :)
I went round and round about it when we were prototyping the HPR, it is 5/8-27 (NOT -28 which is more common)

Unless you are very careful, have an GOOD set of thread pitch gauges and look under a lot of magnification it is hard to tell the difference between 27 and 28 pitch threads. I spend a good bit of time getting this one straight....for what ever reason USD liked odd ball threads and sizes.

To make matters worse, Voit used 5/8-24...

Thanks! By the way, your tools rock! The bench holder for the body, the ring wrench, and especially the HP assembly tool. Made putting my DAAM together a piece of cake!
