Why stop at three? Put a t-splitter under the cheater bar and put a fourth tank there. That would be pretty sweet.

Yeah, they took a cheater manifold and placed it on the two primary tanks that appear to have k-valves. Then using two sets of bands linked the third tank onto the primaries and ensured that tank three had a J valve on it for safety. They then fitted a line from the third tank using either heavy brass or steel as stated earlier in this blog. Stringy tanks linkages have been used before and after. Case in point, the picture I stole from the Scuba Museum.
