2 steel 72s

Fri Oct 31, 2014 2:50 pm

Answered an ad on Craigslist. Three steel tanks, 40 bucks for all three. Guy says bring 'em back if they fail hydro or VIP and he'll give me my money back. Sounds like a no-brainer!
Take them to my LDS, one had already been condemned, but it was under some paint, so I didn't notice it. The other 2 are fine, back in hydro and ready to go.
I got two tanks and a spare valve all for forty bucks. All I have to do is hide my growing addiction from my wife!

If you figure out how to hide your vintage diving addiction let me know. My war department always seems to figure it out. Maybe its because there is always a different piece of gear arriving at the house. :D

Do you have any issue getting fills in SE FL on steel 72s? I have read many of the shops won't fill older tanks regardless of constuction.

My parent's have palace in Vero Beach. If filling is not an issue, I will take a couple of 72s and leave them there.
