The Lads

Wed Apr 05, 2006 7:15 pm

The lads are almost done.

My twin 50; have sufered many indignaties that such equipment should never have to suffer. They were sandblasted until nothing but naked steel showed for all to see.

They were given a new coat of gavilitew to help protect their pristine nature.

New (slightly used) bands were obtained from Rob with military harness, K Ghering sold me the twin solid manifold, today, all the scrounging has paid off. They are finaly locked in their bands together, with their manifold. Soon I will post pictures of the newest members of the vintage dive fraternity.

One thging though. If you use galvilite, VIP stickers dont seem to want to stay stuck.. lots of soap and water to clean to get them to stay, and then some silicone cement to keep em there.
