Well, after tons of dives over a a more than 30 year period the mighty Dacor SeaChute is having issues. With it I have explored caves before cave diving was a course you could take, drifted over reefs and penetrated deep and cold lakes and most recently Hospital Hole but alas the upper bag has had it's oral inflation tube come off the bag. The bag is that clear rubbery material. The oral inflator is neoprene rubber. I tried gluing it back wih AquaSeal with no success. Any suggestions? This is my primary vintage use BC. Hmmm, now what. This BC is unique in that the lower bag is the one that power inflates, the upper is oral or CO2 only. It only has about 15 lbs lift on the lower bag but with that bag centered under the tummy it provides exceptional trim and balance. I sure wish they would make this stuff again.
