Voit Polaris Question

Can any of the Voitmeisters on the forum answer this:
Does anyone know (approximate) production figures for the Polaris? I now have two Polaris regs. One is serial #210, and the other is #2222. All the label photos I've seen on the 'Net are in the 1XXX range.
I know they couldn't have made a huge amount of them, being as production was only from 1962-63. It would be nice to know though...

Hmm, guess this one will forever remain a mystery. Those who would know have probably gone to the great reef in the sky by now.. :(
