Sometimes the fire hydrant....Sometimes the Dog!!

Fri Jul 13, 2007 10:53 pm

Just got a regulator from a new VDH member for a rebuild....Looked like a sticker label DA....Lo and behold it turned out to be a RAM with the wrong top can or at least the top can sticker on it......I only wish more of them turned out this way :D :D
Doing it right should include some common sense, not just blindly following specs and instructions. .Gary D, AWAP on SB

That's neat that someone caught a good deal. 8)

It wasn't all that long ago that the story went the other way. :(

Makes ya wonder if there is a RAM label out there with DA internals? Just order your regs from Bryan and you get more than what you pay for.

I got a deal like that. Bought a Voit "50 Fathom" that turned out to be a Polaris 50 with wrong top can. Was very, very happy to discover that.. :D
Quick Robin, to the Voitmobile!
