UDS 1 Diving system.

Mon May 28, 2007 8:51 am

A "what's it worth" question...
Is there some sort of reasonable price range for A UDS 1 diving system, with the 3 tanks, manifold, second stage, depth, and pressusre guage with it, all in very good condition? It's going for $600. I'm not completely sure I want it, but it is pretty cool looking. What are your thoughts?....if any.

Here's a long discussion about the UDS-1 from VSS:

My concern would be, are the tanks made from 6351 alloy which is susceptible to sustained load cracking. :?:

WOW  Thank's much! That bad boy looks like a major PITA! Guess i'll just continue to assemble standard doubles. 600 clams for a really cool looking wall hanger is out of my league for now.
